About a month ago I got a call from Maxim magazine asking me to photograph a spread for their September issue of, “Revis Island.” Now my nautical knowledge and cartography skills may lack, but not as much as my overall sports repertoire.
My answer to the question, “where’s that?”
Maxim: “No, it’s a person, and a talented football player at that.”
My idiocy aside. I may not understand the rules of football, nor know the faces of the game, but I can take one hell of a photograph of its players. Often I have had personal liaisons on photoshoots to tell me the ins and outs of the game and to advise me what the player’s (I am photographing) primary objectives are in said game, but I digress…
The concept for the photograph was the private island that is Revis Island….as always, enjoy
