My iPad Pro picked a bad day to start having battery life issues…

These are exciting times to be a creative, exciting times indeed. For the first time in quite a while there are major companies eyeing our profession and catering products around it again It reminds me of the days that Apple courted us with the iPhone 4s, long before the mainstreaming of their devices rendered them anything but unique.

Today saw Microsoft announcing the Surface Pro, a device that seems to have photographers and illustrators directly in its crosshairs. When I woke up to read about the launch, I immediately saw opportunities that the device from offer flashing through my head and am positive the future will see one of those things in my travel bag. The big question is, “can the Surface Pro handle a Hasselblad file?” If it can, we may be on the forefront of a new, more mobile photography that doesn’t sacrifice quality or ability for portability.

I will keep you guys posted with any more information I can find. I am off to do a little happy dance and figure out how to get my grubby little fingers on one of them…
