I decided that I would enjoy the new found freedom that is wifi enabled airplanes, so I am writing and publishing this blog on my first flight of the day. As the title eludes, February is going to be a little on the chaotic side. I am currently 30,000 feet over what looks like Texas, on the way to Miami, for a couple hours and finally ending up in Costa Rica. One week there then it is on to Florida for a week to photograph then to Phoenix for 4 hours to photograph then to San Francisco to photograph then to Las Vegas to speak for Photoflex, returning home in March. How’s that for a run on sentence?

Over the past couple years I found that photographing pics with a point and shoot while off set helps me to feel a little closer to home. It started with Dutch Harbor, while I was photographing the Deadliest Catch, and then stopped for a bit while I looked for a better P&S camera. Enter the Nikon P7000… I snagged one a few days back and it currently sits above me in the overhead bin. I only had a couple minutes yesterday to check it out, and it is solid, expect images in the very near future…

On a side note, feel free to Tweet me any question, or simply a hello, the hours that I will be on a plane or in a hotel room will go by faster with something to do (Twitter: blairbunting)
